Privacy Policy

When you register, ChatAsylum stores the details you submit so the account can sign in and so staff can run the room.

• Account details: username, password, email or phone, birthday, and gender.
• Sign-in details: the IP address and time of a login, used for bans and security.
• Email is used to verify the account and to reset a forgotten password.
• Birthday is used to confirm you are 18 or older. It is not shown in the chat.
• Gender is stored on your profile. “Prefer not to say” is saved the same way and is not shown as male or female.

We do not sell this information. Staff can see account records when they need to moderate the site.
